jews first come to Yurevichi.  problably during reign of John III Sobieski in the 1600s.  However, the The Encyclopedia of Jewish Life states that “jews are first mentioned” in late 1700s.

The Germans occupied Yurevichi on 22 August 1941 and establish a Jewish ghetto in October.  Between 200-250 Jews were murdered on 19 November and another 200 on 27 November.</description>
